The Awards, which recognise the best charities in the North East, are running for a third year.
This year’s event takes place at the Boiler Shop in Newcastle ’s Stephenson Quarter on September 28. Charities, voluntary organisations, social enterprises and businesses can enter any of the categories. The closing date is August 11.
Judging takes place at the start of September and VONNE CEO Jane Hartley is part of the judging panel.
The award categories are:
- Outstanding charity support by large companies
- Outstanding charity support by small to medium companies
- Outstanding Individual Contribution to Charity sponsored by Leathers the Accountants
- Uniquely North East Award
- Outstanding Social Enterprise
- Charity Leader of the Year
- Champion Volunteer of the Year
- Young Charity Champion of the Year
- Philanthropy Award
- Small Charity of the Year
- North East Charity of the Year
